Create one clear invoice

Add your business and customer names, invoice number, issue and due dates, then enter 1–20 line items. Addresses, notes, and payment terms are optional. The selected code—USD, CAD, AUD, EUR, or GBP—labels every amount with two decimal places. There is no currency conversion, exchange-rate lookup, or locale inference.

Each line needs a description, a positive quantity, and a nonnegative rate. Quantity accepts ASCII digits with up to three decimal places; rates and fixed adjustments accept up to two. Exact limits keep arithmetic and printed output bounded.

Check the exact calculation order

The engine uses scaled BigInt integers, so invoice money never passes through binary floating-point arithmetic. It rounds every quantity × rate line half up to cents, sums those rounded lines, subtracts the fixed discount, calculates tax on the discounted subtotal, then adds fixed shipping outside the tax basis.

Print or copy the current result

Generate creates one current semantic invoice preview. Any edit, added or removed row, clear action, or page lifecycle change retires that preview and disables Print and Copy until you generate again. This prevents an older invoice from being printed or copied after its inputs change.

Print CSS targets conservative US Letter portrait margins and keeps line rows and totals from clipping where the browser supports CSS Paged Media and Fragmentation. The two-line example is designed for one page. Longer accepted invoices may paginate. Browser and printer settings remain authoritative.

The button opens your browser’s Print flow. A browser may offer Save as PDF, but this tool does not create a direct PDF download, upload a logo, send email, create a payment link, host an invoice, or save invoice history.

Tax and jurisdiction boundary

Tax is a user-entered arithmetic adjustment on the discounted line-item subtotal. It is not a rate lookup, tax calculation service, filing document, or statement that the invoice complies with any jurisdiction. Check the fields, numbering, rates, records, and legal requirements that apply to your transaction. Private browser-memory workflow

Your entered business, customer, line, date, amount, note, and payment-term values stay in this tab. The tool does not persist them, add them to the URL, or include them in anonymous analytics. Printing and copying pass the current output to browser or operating system services only after your explicit action.
