Privacy policy
What stays in your browser, and what third parties may receive.
This policy covers the public ToolNeko English pages and explains tool input, browser storage, analytics, advertising, and basic network data.
Last updated:
Tool input is processed locally
The English symbol, text-style, and unit-conversion tools run in your browser. ToolNeko does not send typed search phrases, text entered into the fancy-text tool, clipboard contents, values you convert, or displayed conversion results to ToolNeko's analytics events or application server.
Local processing does not mean that visiting a web page creates no network traffic. The hosting provider, network infrastructure, Google Analytics, and advertising services may receive basic request information such as IP address, page URL, timestamp, browser, device type, and approximate location as part of loading the site or their scripts.
Browser storage
Some symbol tools may use localStorage to remember recent or frequently used public symbol identifiers on that browser. This convenience data stays on the device and is not synchronized between browsers or accounts. You can remove it through the tool's clear control, when available, or by deleting site data for toolneko.com in your browser settings.
Google Analytics 4
ToolNeko uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate page use, sessions, approximate geography, devices, and whether a tool interaction succeeds. GA4 may use first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers and sessions.
Tool events use fixed fields such as tool ID, tool family, locale, experiment cohort, action type, and placement. When you copy a catalog symbol, the event may also contain fixed group and item IDs. Those IDs do not contain the raw glyph or clipboard text, but because the catalog is public they can correspond to a particular catalog item. Events do not contain entered text, typed search phrases, clipboard contents, converted numbers, recent-use content, or personal contact information.
You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense, cookies, and ads
ToolNeko uses Google AdSense on published individual tool pages. Google and participating advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Ad requests can occur even when no visible ad is ultimately shown.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies based on prior visits to ToolNeko or other websites. You can manage ad personalization in My Ad Center. Turning off personalized ads does not remove all advertising; it changes how ads are selected.

External links and policy updates
Tool pages may link to standards organizations or other external sites. Their privacy practices apply after you leave ToolNeko. If ToolNeko later adds accounts, server-side storage, a new analytics provider, or another material data use, this page will be updated to describe the actual implementation.
