PST and EST are standard-time abbreviations; PDT and EDT are daylight-time abbreviations. On July 1, 2026, 9:00 AM in Los Angeles is 9:00 AM PDT and converts to 12:00 PM EDT. On December 1, the labels are PST and EST. A typed PST or EST suffix that conflicts with the selected date produces a warning.

Scope and timezone data
This tool handles only the Los Angeles and New York timezone regions for dates from 2000 through 2100. Browser timezone data can change when governments revise rules; verify mission-critical schedules with the participants' current calendar or official source.

How many hours ahead is EST from PST?

Is PST always the correct name for Pacific Time?
