Timer and randomness boundaries
The browser chooses from the remaining filtered words with Web Crypto and rejection sampling. The timer uses the clock time remaining rather than assuming every interval fires exactly on schedule. It finishes with visible text and does not require sound.

Does choosing a new word start the timer?
