Online Alarm Clock

Set one alarm or keep three named reminders together in the same tab.

Current time --:--:--

Reading your device time…

Keep up to 3 alarms. Test the sound first. The alarm will not work after you close the tab or if your device sleeps.

Test and enable the sound first. Times use your current device time zone.

Keep three named alarms in one tab

Use separate names for a wake-up, departure, meeting, study break, or another same-day reminder. Every alarm shows its selected time and a live countdown, and you can turn one off without deleting the others. The page keeps at most three alarms so the active list stays visible and easy to check.

Test the sound before depending on it

Browsers normally require a click before a page can play audio. Press Test and enable sound, listen for the short two-note alert, and check your device volume. Progressive volume starts gently and increases while the alarm continues; turn it off when you want a steady alert level.

Countdowns follow target times

Each alarm stores its next local target time. The page compares that target with the current device clock, so ordinary background-tab throttling does not add one missed callback at a time. Snooze sets a fresh target five minutes ahead, and a restored page recalculates each countdown from its saved target.

What a browser alarm cannot promise

This page must stay open. Closing the tab or browser stops it. Device sleep, browser suspension, muted output, battery restrictions, or operating-system policies can also delay or prevent sound. Keep screen awake can request a Screen Wake Lock on supported browsers, but switching apps or locking the device may still suspend the page. Use a built-in or dedicated alarm for medical, safety, travel, or other important deadlines.

Local storage and privacy

Alarm names, selected times, enabled state, next target, and the progressive-volume choice stay in this browser's local storage. They are not uploaded with analytics. Delete alarms from the list when you no longer need them, or clear this site's browser storage to remove all saved alarm state.

Frequently asked questions

How do I set an online alarm?

Choose a time, add an optional name, and press Add alarm. Test and enable sound before you rely on the alert, then keep this tab and your device awake.

Can I set more than one alarm?

Yes. You can keep up to three named alarms in this tab. Each alarm has its own time, countdown, on/off control, and delete button.

Will the alarm work if I close the tab or my computer sleeps?

No guarantee. Closing the page or browser stops the alarm, and device sleep, browser suspension, muted audio, or battery restrictions can delay or prevent it. Use your device's built-in alarm for important wake-ups or deadlines.

Why do I need to test and enable sound?

Browsers block audio until you interact with a page. The test button starts the audio session and lets you confirm that the device is not muted and the volume is high enough.

What does progressive volume do?

Progressive volume starts quietly and increases while the alarm keeps ringing. Turn it off to use a steady alert level instead.

How long is snooze?

Snooze creates a new target time five minutes from the moment you press it. The countdown then follows that new target instead of counting browser callbacks.

Are my alarm names and times uploaded?

No. Your alarms and progressive-volume choice are stored in this browser only. Tool analytics records bounded actions such as adding or completing an alarm, never your alarm name or selected time.
