Love Calculator
Type two names and get a playful score from 0 to 100. The same pair always gets the same score, and the names never leave your browser.
A just-for-fun game: two names give a repeatable score from 0 to 100. It isn't a measure of a relationship.

Just for fun — not a measure of a relationship.
Same two names, same score, every time. How the score is made
The copied or downloaded text has the score and the just-for-fun note, not the names.
Want something to share instead? Blend two names into a ship name (you'll type the names again there).
How to play
Enter any two names — yours and a crush's, two friends', or two characters' — and press Calculate. You get a score out of 100 and a short, lighthearted line. It's a game, so a low score means nothing more than a high one.
How the score is made
This is ToolNeko love calculator version 1. Each name is tidied up first: letters are put into a standard Unicode form, runs of spaces, tabs and line breaks become one space, spaces at the ends are trimmed, and capital letters become lowercase. Accents and non-Latin writing are kept as they are. The two names are then put in a fixed order, so swapping them changes nothing, and turned into a SHA-256 fingerprint inside your browser. The first part of that fingerprint becomes a number from 0 to 100. If this method ever changes, the version number will change too, so a pair's score won't quietly change.
The formula makes the score repeatable, not meaningful. Two different pairs can get the same score, and scores aren't guaranteed to be evenly spread across 0–100.
What the score lines mean
0–19: "A surprising mix in this little game." 20–39: "An unexpected combo in this little game." 40–59: "A playful middle score in this little game." 60–79: "A cheerful score in this little game." 80–100: "A standout score in this little game." None of them says anything about real feelings or what anyone should do.
Privacy
Names stay in this browser tab. They aren't added to the page address, so there's no link that carries them, and they aren't saved or sent anywhere. A SHA-256 fingerprint of a short name can be guessed from a list of names, so ToolNeko doesn't send that either. Copying or downloading gives you the score and the just-for-fun note only. Read the privacy policy for how the site handles analytics and ads.
Frequently asked questions
Is this scientific?
No. The score is a playful number made from the two names with a fixed formula. It doesn't measure compatibility, predict anything about a relationship, or give advice. Treat it like a party game.
Why does swapping names keep the score?
The calculator puts the two names in a fixed order before figuring out the score, so it doesn't matter which name goes first. "Alex Smith" and "Jordan Lee" give the same score in either order.
Are names saved?
No. The score is calculated in this browser tab. The names aren't put in the page address, saved in the browser, or sent to ToolNeko or anyone else, and site analytics record only which buttons were used and whether something failed, never the names, score or result text. Copy score and Download text include the score and a just-for-fun note, not the names.
Will the same pair get the same score?
Yes. The same two names always give the same score, on any device. Capital letters and extra spaces are treated alike, so "ALEX SMITH" matches "Alex Smith". A different spelling or nickname is a different name and usually gives a different score.
