BMR Calculator
BMR estimates the calories your body uses at rest to maintain basic functions. It is often the first number behind TDEE and daily calorie targets.
How BMR is calculated
This tool uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. For men, the formula is 10 x weight + 6.25 x height - 5 x age + 5. For women, the final constant is -161.
BMR is a resting estimate. It does not include walking, training, work, or daily movement.
BMR vs TDEE
Look at BMR when you want a resting baseline. Look at TDEE when you want a practical daily calorie target that includes activity.
This tool provides an estimate and is not medical, nutrition, or training advice. If your situation is medical, pregnancy-related, or otherwise special, consult a professional.
